I found these in my shop. They look vaguely ham radio related.

    What is this ?

Yes, you guys got it. It is indeed the cigarette lighter plug, stuffed with a male-male UHF connector. It was stuck in there by little hands in my family.

Story is that I couldn't find that male-male UHF connector before the 7QP. Looked all over and had no idea where to look. Nobody fessed up about taking my ham radio stuff, either. Just yesterday when I was in my daughters room, I stumbled upon the cigarette lighter plug, which shouldn't be in her room either. I was looking at the bottom and saw the connector, and scratched my head for a moment until I realized that it was the missing male-male UHF connector.

Pretty sure that my daughter has adopted a black hole that she's stuffed in a corner of her room. Most everything seems to migrate that direction eventually.

Now, I just have to figure out how to get the thing out. It's jammed in there pretty good but I should be able to get it out.

Let's hope he doesn't make that mistake when he's out 'clubbing'!

I thought the original pic was a lab certified discombobulator.:(

    They need to be calibrated.

    I have one of those.

It's a key-to-coax direct-attached gizmo that lets you connect an antenna directly to your key, to save money on a rig.
