    My elmer; a good friend, and one who did all he could to get me on the air.  Gave me my novice exam, assembled a novice station for me, took me to Nashville twice to take my General exam in 1972.  His call shows as expired/not in the database; his widow, Linda, was once WB4SIV.  I would not be ham without his influence. Rest well, friend.  I am posting his qsl card on my QRZ profile page.
