If a reader at QRZ.COM should read this, your help would be appreciated.

I would like to include some information on W5EUY, which apparently has expired and has not been re-issued.

W5EUY was the Amateur Radio Club at what is now The University of Texas at Arlington. At the time W5EUY was in use, the college was a Junior College branch of the Texas A&M System and was formerly known as North Texas Agricultural College (NTAC, commonly referred to as "N-Tack").The name was changed to Arlington State College about 1949. Later, the College was elevated to full senior college and eventually became a part of the University of Texas system of course.

The trustee was listed as Professor Merril W. Joy, who was head of the Electrical Engineering Department, but most of the activity and use of the station was under the "chief operator", W5FBL, Professor Joseph S. Howell, Jr., who was the instructor for most of the Industrial Electrical Engineering laboratory courses.

Any further information would be appreciated. Please reply to rtpaige@gateway.net.
