    Glenn Abercrombie ( W4VCC ) , passed away last night ( Sept. 20 , 2005 ) , from a heart attack . He was one of my best friends and Elmers here in N. E. Alabama . He will be sorely missed by me , as well as others . I'll mostly miss his visits to my shack . A lot of coffee and laughter , good times that I'll fondly remember .

    KG4NAE mentioned this last night on the Cullman net. I was truly sorry to hear it. Although I had only briefly met Glenn personally, I always enjoyed hearing his voice on the radio. I'll miss him. My condolences to those who knew him well.
