A few days back OM Guru, VU2GUR passed away in Bangalore, India. VU2GUR was "guru" to may young hams in the 80s and 90s and a very enthusiastic QRPP CW operator. Later on during the satellite days - with Hamsat and AO41, he was the SAT"guru" to many hams in VU, and gave demos with very simple setup and logged several thousand satellite QSOs. He was also an ex- serviceman, served in the IAF in his younger days RIP Guru DE Shankar VU2SWG/A65CR
