    I already have one. Good radio but be sure to get the optional NAGOYA 320a tri-band antenna. It improves the performance of the radio a good bit.

    Nice triband radio for less than the cost of a single band 220 radio. Receiver squelch seems better than the UV5R, but the detector seems very sensitive to amplitude changes (clicking and popping) and the front end is very susceptible to intermod. No transmit problems though.

    Agreed. Good overall report. I've not experienced intermod on mine yet, but if it showed up soon, it wouldn't surprise me.

    Intermod is there. The squelch thresholds can be adjusted in Chirp.

    At least it doesn't generate an illegal 70cm harmonic when using 220, like the UV-82X does. You can work 70cm repeaters with the 82X on 1.25m. No lie. Glad it's discontinued.
