If anyone can use these 4-pin tubes please contact me as I have the following:

1 - Amperex A-21 Power triode with graphite plate,
    1 - Taylor TZ40, Zero Bias Triode, http://www.tubecollectors.org/taylor/archives/tz40.pdf
2 - Eimac 3C24/24G triodes with horiz. grid pin.

All in original cartons and packing.

Going thru several 30's QST's I see the 59 was used several times and went away when the 6L6 arrived in 36.

Were there any other receiving type tubes in the big pin and octal base that were true pentodes with all grids bought out to separate pins other than the 6AG7? Im not counting sweep tubes.

837 pentode. A smaller TX tube...

Also the 802. It won't run quite the power of an 807, but is less squirrelly. A good tube for an intermediate stage working straight through. As I recall, it has the same socket connection as an 837, but with a 6.3 volt filament.

Yes, the 802 - you beat me to it. 802 and 837 are quite similar, but not identical. Same basing (the Medium 7 pin base, also used by 1625, 6A6, 53 and a few others).

Many of the above are "related" in that their characteristics are identical, or nearly so. There are also 2.5 volt versions of many of the above.

The following groups are all similar:

    Sharp cutoff pentodes:

    6J7 (octal)
    6SJ7 (octal, single ended)
    6C6 (6 pin base, 6.3 volt heater)
6D7 (7 pin Small base, 6.3 volt heater)
    6W7-G (octal)
    57 (6 pin base, 2.5 volt heater)
    77 (6 pin base, 6.3 volt heater)

    -----

    Remote cutoff pentodes:

    6K7 (octal with grid cap)
    6SK7 (octal, single-ended)
    6U7-G (octal)
    6D6 (6 pin base, 6.3 volt heater)
6E7 (7 pin Small base, 6.3 volt heater)
    57 (6 pin base, 2.5 volt heater)
    77 (6 pin base, 6.3 volt heater)
