kk4ecu is a scammer, kenneth swain stole 320 dollars from me and never sent the radio
Details? Don't see any For Sale or SOLD posts with that callsign.
There is no callsign listed on his QRZ webpage.
Standard operating procedure for imposters/scammers.
unless you can show otherwise, you probably got taken by an impostor
and owe somebody an apology...
Yes, details? Are you sure it was the real KK4ECU or someone posing as him? His QRZ page doesn't show an email address, so how do you know it was him? Not cool to call out someone as a thief without details that can be verified.
Let me guess, "he" responded via email to the wanted post you made back in January where you publicly posted your email address.
Looking at his profile and history here, he hasn't posted on QRZ since last year and he does not have an email address listed on his profile page. This is the typical situation where a scammer creates an email address that appears to be from a ham member here but actually is fake and belongs to the scammer from who-knows-where in the world they are. So most likely you actually sent your money to a criminal somewhere across the globe and not to the real KK4ECU who probably knows nothing about this.
quick google search shows a twitter account using that call.
how legitimate it is I dunno
Why do people keep falling for these simple tricks.
Did that scammer pretending to be KK4ECU rip you off again? Looks like he got you in January.
