For those of you that might be movie-goers, you'll enjoy several cameo appearances of the famed "Woodpecker" shortwave antenna, as it surrounds the remnants of a futuristic Chicago, in the newly released movie, Divergent. Aided by computer-generated effects, it's adapted as massive fence, containing what's left of a society, that's broken into five, distinct factions, based solely on personalities. The plot revolves around a young lady that doesn't fit into just one group and therefore, becomes a threat to their society.
The surrounding "fence" is a CG-copy of the Duga-3 system antenna, a.k.a. the "woodpecker" and the conical antenna segments that make up the face of the array, are very clearly identifiable.
