"The inventor of radio - 190 years"

"The inventor of radio - 190 years" - this radio amateur event is devoted to the 190-th anniversary of the birth of Mahlon Loomis (21 July 1826 – 13 October 1886), who according to historical sources was the inventor of the radio. This memorial combines activity days with the elements of competition.
The event is heldfrom8 to 23 (including) of July, 2016. The organizer is NGO "Vinnytsia regional sports and technical radio club", Ukraine.
Amateurs all over the world are invited to participate in the memorial. All major types of modulation, the main shortwave bands and the distribution of awards in four categories give each radio amateur an opportunity to have fun and get a prize!

During the first 5 days (almost a third event in time) our spetsstantsiyamy held 11.6 thousand. QSO with stations of the 92 th by DXCC (28 zones by WAZ of 40).
283 stations world had at least 7 QSO searching and actually actively participate in the memorial.

За перші 5 діб (майже третина заходу по часу) нашими спецстанціями проведено 11,6 тис. QSO з станціями 92-ї країн по DXCC (28 зон по WAZ із 40-ка).
283 станцій світу провели не менше 7 QSO на пошук та фактично активно беруть участь у меморіалі.

For 8 days (exactly half of the event in time) our spetsstantsiyamy held 15.6 thousand. QSO with a station's 102 countries for DXCC (33 zones by WAZ of 40).
246 stations world had at least 10 QSO searching and actually actively participate in the memorial. Station 21 had at least 50 QSO searching.

За 8 діб (рівно половина заходу по часу) нашими спецстанціями проведено 15,6 тис. QSO з станціями 102-х країн по DXCC (33 зон по WAZ із 40-ка).

In accordance with the wishes of amateurs who can not work with all kinds of modulation, the organizing committee of the event decided to award diplomas and all the radio stations that will be TOPs «CW», «SSB» and «DIGI» at the end of the memorial.

Відповідно до побажань радіоаматорів, які не можуть працювати усіма видами модуляції, оргкомітетом заходу прийнято рішення нагородити також дипломами усі радіостанції, котрі будуть в ТОПах «CW», «SSB» та «DIGI» по завершенні меморіалу.

В соответствии с пожеланиями радиолюбителей, которые не могут работать всеми видами модуляции, оргкомитетом мероприятия принято решение наградить также дипломами все радиостанции, которые будут в ТОПах «CW», «SSB» и «DIGI» по завершении мемориала.
