I ran this through Google Translate. Wanted to notify others of what's going on in Korea, at this moment, should you hear any Korea-based callsigns with the number 23 in them.

It is a national ham event sponsoring the PyeongChang Winter Olympic games. Insofar as I understand it, all Korea-based ops are allowed to apply to use the special callsign beginning with their prefix, then with 23 as the number in their call, followed by their suffix. It appears that the original number of their prefix is then placed at the end of the call as /1 or /2, etc.

I am planning to apply for this (I am HL1ZIX, here in Korea).
