Spotted your request whilst researching the HF-X80, there is very little info out there, I get the impression that it's a relatively new product, I'm looking to replace my homebrew cobweb with a cheap...ish vertical.

The cobweb only gives me five bands and due to its profile i need to keep it quite low down, I note that the X80 will cover 80 to 6, and won't be too obvious if installed a little higher, hence my interest. I dont expect miracles but at least i'll have some capability across a few more bands, and a reasonably tidy installation.

the 6m coverage is key for me at my QTH as we have a very good 6m repeater in stoke.

In the absence of any user reviews I decided to throw caution to the wind and order one from T/pole, not a massive outlay so I won't be too upset if it doesn't work out.

Once it arrives and i get it installed I'll let you know how i get on with it.
