    This amp's been around. It's not as pretty as Frits PA0FRI's, but works just fine.

    The Caddock (and other brand) noninductive tab power resistors' power ratings are at 25°C (ambient) and derate above that temperature. For more than a coupla watts dissipation , heatsinking is a good idea.

    i.e. bolt to the chassis. Use a thin layer of heat sink grease. Moderate tension on the mounting screw.

    If you decide to try adjusting the input tuners be CAREFUL. Don't use metal instruments to adjust and don't force it. If you crack one of the tuning slugs you will be up the creek with out a paddle. Maybe you will find a replacement... Maybe not.
