    ROBERT E MCCORMICK
    MARCH 29, 1941 - OCTOBER 10, 2019
    OBITUARY

On Thursday October 10th, 2019, the world lost an incredible man and Heaven gained an amazing angel. Robert Edward McCormick, 78, of Boynton Beach, FL, was taken from us too soon. He was born in the Bronx, NY to the late Edward and Lillian McCormick. He lived in the Bronx until moving to NJ before retiring to Boynton Beach, Florida. He is survived by his daughter Elizabeth, son-in-law Russell, three beautiful grandchildren Nicholas, Brian, and Michael, and life companion Carole. He was preceded by his sister, Lillian Sheridan.
Robert was a strong, caring, courageous, and honorable man, always there to help whenever help was needed. He enjoyed watching the New York Yankees, photography, motorcycles, performing magic tricks, cooking, playing the guitar and keyboard, and talking on ham radio. Those are just a few of his many life's enjoyments. Robert was very patriotic and enjoyed talking about his time serving in the US Army. He was a proud American.
Robert worked for the NY Daily News and Caesars Palace in Atlantic City as a dealer/casino games supervisor. He always had a story for everything. Robert loved spending time with his daughter and grandchildren, especially fishing with his grandsons.
Robert will be greatly missed, but those he loved know he is always watching down on us as a shining light to guide us. You will be missed and we love you….. Forever and always…..
A funeral mass will be held at 12:30 PM, On October 26th, 2019 at St Mary's Church, 747 West Bay Avenue Barnegat, NJ 08005.
