It gets confusing with negative capacitance electrolytics, since you need to ignore the polarity.

What about the capacitors passing DC when supercooled to absolute zero?
Forget about old fashioned magnetic inductance, how about ultra compact intercalated graphene kinetic inductors?

There is always alarm concerning results that cannot be reproduced. Explanations include increased levels of scrutiny, complexity of experiments and statistics, and pressures on researchers. Journals, scientists, institutions and funders all have a part in tackling reproducibility, or the lack thereof.
