Fred Lloyd, AA7BQ, is the creator of perhaps the Internet’s oldest ham radio resource, QRZ.com. With over 700 thousand subscribers, QRZ.com is the go to place for hams wanting to look up other hams in its call sign database. It does however, have a large number of other resources available to amateurs that Fred and Eric, 4Z1UG, discuss in this QSO Today. Tnx Fred for sharing your story. I agree that it's magic when you get on air with only your antenna and your radio. I still marvel at the early pioneers of radio. QRZ subscriber and proud of it. Keep up the great work you do making QRZ the BEST! 73 from Wisconsin, Denny WB9MSM
I use QRZ, as many do, almost continuously when on the air. Fred and his team continue to improve QRZ! Thanks, Fred, for your stellar contribution to Amateur Radio.
