List your top 10 countries you need the MOST and would just DIE to work!

I don't need quite 10, so here are my top 7

P5 North Korea
7O Yemen
BS7H Scarborough Reef
VU7 Lakshadweep
SV/A Mt Athos
E4 Palenstine
ZD9 Tristan de Cunha

OH, I still need a GOOD 9U (Burundi) card, as the one I have has yet to be accepted by HQ. The OP said he sent in docs, but still no blessing from DXCC desk.

Of those on the list, there has been some occasional activity from ZD9, VU7 and E4. I just can't seem to snag Monk Apollo! Not much hope for P5 or 7O. And BS7H is quite a task for a DXpedition, but they have done it a couple of times. I just didn't get in the log.

So lets see what the REST of QRZed needs!

My list would be empty. I'm not "dying" to work anything that badly.

The first 2 on the list I wouldn't mind. The 3rd one is a flipping joke and doesn't even deserve to be on the DXCC list in the first place, IMO. Number 4, I've got. Number 6, I've got. Numbers 5 & 7, I'll get to.

But you expected that.

Life is so much simpler when you are only on VHF.

Just what we need - a statistically invalid list from a small subsection of Dx'ers. How about a list of needs from ONLY those licensed a few years living in a condo running qrp and who also travels 6 days/week, has a wife and 6 kids, is a golf fanatic in summer/ski bum in winter and runs on solar power?

The ARRL issues a countries list updated every now and then for those who still need them all. ;)

I only have 94 from this list,so my list would be quite long. However, I really would like to work some southeast asian or middle eastern countries.

Ditto, they don't call it "scafold" reef for nothing.
I'll bet somebody on the DXAC needs it real bad for #1 on the honor role.

I too need 7 to work them all. Here are the seven:
North Korea
Heard Island
South Georgia
Pratis Island

N4AA has been running a MWL for years. That - AFAIK - has pretty much been the gold standard for MWL surveys.

I got Palestine on 80-17. I'll give you my 30 meter one. Hows that?

Curious. LONG ago a friend was on a DXpedition to Heard. I worked him several times on 20. Being exactly half way around the world from Ohio the beam direction didn't matter.

Is there any permanent population on Heard? I don't think there was back then, but not sure.

There is a GIANORMUS Population there!!!

You mean there are BOTH Penguins and Gianormusses? I didn't think they co-existed.

Thats why there are fewer penguins there these days. The Gianormus's are eating them!

We need to introduce some Humongous's then. I hear they eat Gianormus's:rolleyes:

That would explain why those Gianormuses are so Gianormus.
