New ham and still learning the ropes, so please excuse if this is a noob question: I recently purchased a Yaesu FT-70D and I am working on programming a set of repeater frequencies for an organization I work with. As part of this, I saw from my Kenwood radio a setting called DQT encode, but there is nothing like that in the Yaesu. In the Yaesu I see a setting for DCS but the options under that are not similar. Is there a conversion or something to allow this programming, or is that a proprietary thing to Kenwood that the FT-70D is not capable of communicating with? Thanks for any insight!
