    Well it only took two weeks, pretty fast! It's not the blister pack as shown, just the items in bubble wrap.
    SDR# is too resource-heavy for my older laptop. It looks snazzy, but the audio is really garbled.
    HDSDR is a better match for this machine and picked up FM broadcast and NOAA WX easily.
    Not hearing much else yet with the included antenna. Neat toy for under $9, may prove to be handy with more experimentation.

    HDSDR is my software of choice. It seems to work best, and absolutely is the most visually appealing. SDR# has some excellent plug-ins though... Let's you do things you can't do with HDSDR like scanning. Nothing that I use, but many people do.

    Got a splitter today, so I can run two dongles on one antenna.


    Besides dual-listening ability, it also allows side-by-side comparisons.

    It's nice to be able to monitor two systems at once. I should have bought a splitter months ago!
