i like this app ive been using for quite a while its wonderful open a whole new concept thanks to david and crew 9Z3CN

 

Just wish it connected to the gateways. Its a nice app and have used it on and off for about 2 months

 

I am not a D-Star user, but thought that this app would be a way to see how it works. Unfortunately, I have been unable to register with the D-Star network. Using the info on PA7LIM's page, whenever I try to register after selecting a local reflector, I just get "page can't be reached" errors. I tried a couple of reflectors with the same result. It seems that none of the listed systems in Nevada have working registration URLs.

 

Register through the PAPA System. Works great!

 

I did finally get registered, but found that the Peanut app is more like Zello, in that it works within it's own little world. The D-Star connection process is not as robust as the PR would indicate.

 

I think it is a fantastic app I can still injoy the hobby even when I am not in the shack just using my android tablet keep up the good work David

So.. basically its a Skype or Team Speak App but 100 times over-complicated to setup and you need a license.. Ham Radio Party like it's 1999.. lulz

When it connects to Dstar ill use it ! until then ill monitor it.

 

Do I understand this correctly, it doesn't actually connect to D-star?

What’s the point of it then?
