We will be operating a special event August 21, 2017 from 16:00 UTC til 19:00 UTC. We will be fully within the path of totality. It will be interesting to see if gray line propagation will be in effect. At this time we anticipate operating 40 meters on or about 7.185 Mhz +- QRM. As we are self funding,we will be issuing a limited number of QSL cards for this event. The last time the U.S had a total solar eclipse that passed from the west to east coast was June 8, 1918. **** Please note: Thirty minutes prior to and during the 2m:40s of totality, we will be off air **** as we will be photographing the event.
