Please be patient. As experienced solo jumpers we pay only $24 for a Cessna 208 turboprop ride to 13,500 ft. Tandem jumpers pay over $200, so guess who gets boarding priority? We are ballast, filler, cheap cargo, standby passengers. There is simply no way to give precise jump scheduling. I know it's frustrating, but please bear with us.

Really hope to work a few QRP QSOs. We will have very unique QSL cards. Don't sweat it if I give a partial call sign (like just your suffix) in reply to your call. It's very noisy under canopy and listening is difficult. I am doing a lot of things in parallel like scanning for aircraft traffic and getting wind updates from the ground crew. I will be carrying an audio recorder connected to the FT 817 audio output. If I can hear you on on the recording, you will get a card. This isn't a contest with strict rules, just a fun event.

I will exit and 13,500 ft, freefall for about 5-7 seconds to get stable, then deploy my main canopy. I will conduct about 15 seconds of post-deployment safety and canopy flight control checks, then I can start working stations. My descent rate under canopy is about 1000 fpm. At about 2500 ft I have to stow the radio gear and concentrate on setting up my landing approach.
