Palomar model 300A -- black face, chrome cover -- grounded grid amplifier. It has high/low power selection and is for the 40-20-15-10 meter amateur radio bands.

See the manual with schematic here:
    http://www.cbtricks.com/Amp/palomar/300a/index.htm

The protective plastic sheet is still on the front panel, should be removed (is wrinkled), panel looks nice.

The power transformer is separate (see the schematic) and is NOT INCLUDED, but does include the connecting cable (a Triad, Thordarson, etc xfmr having the proper HV and filament winding can be used).

This is an estate item, untested, looks complete, with tubes, but offered AS IS. Photos available by email, contact tom@lakeboon.com

Will sell for BEST OFFER over $90.00 by Sunday PM 2/7/10 (plus shipping)
Pickup in Quartzsite Arizona or I will ship in USA for $24.00 ... Photos available by email.

It will have either 6KD6's or 6LF6's. I have actually used one of those amps. If I recall two tubes drive 4 and it does not need much drive from the rig.

It was actually a pretty decent amp, good clean audio from it and I never had any complaints in regards to spurs etc.

Other than the fact it does not cover 80 meters it is a nice little desktop amp. The asking price is right!
