    Should work fine; it's listed as a "close talking" microphone, so don't expect to sit back in your chair a foot or two away and have it work properly from that distance.

    Also, I see the note about the PTT switch that breaks the audio line; it doesn't say, and I didn't look for the schematic, to see if that can be used to key a transmitter in the conventional "ham radio PTT" sense. If not, you may have to re-wire the mike to use the switch for conventional TX PTT.

    The Shure 450 Series II has a nice curve.

    If I recall correctly it uses the R96 Cartridge.

    Back in My Yute, I can recall the skool paging systems using what looked like a Turner +2....
