    I pine to memorize and memorialize the death smells, funky walkways, putrid toilets, crap volcanoes, Mad Max post apocalypse parking lots, rufus leaking stalactites, and black mold ecology...that is HARA...

    yep, I was at Dayton in 2003. It seemed pretty run down then. I hope this isn't the end of Dayton Hamvention. I'd like to go again one more time.

    Hamvention is being moved to the Fairgrounds in Xenia. Xenia is much smaller of a town and accommodations are going to be tougher. Unless you stay in the Dayton Area and drive in. When I lived in the Dayton area, I was a member of both DARA and the Xenia club.

    They sold all of the seats that were in the Houston Astrodome.

    They never did tear it down like they said they were going to do.

    It is still costing tax payer millions, And they have no place to set.

    Why would anyone miss that trash dump, backed up toilets not to mention the fascinating views from attendees!
