Dave Anderson, K4SV, reports [edited]: The W4DXCC DX and Contest Convention is located at the MainStay Suites in Pigeon Forge, TN, September 22-23rd 2017. A full schedule of popular presenters speak on DX and Contest subjects throughout the main convention with prize drawings between presenters, drinks and snacks included. Equipment manufacturers are on hand to demon- strate new products and answer your equipment questions face to face. A banquet rounds out the day where the grand prizes are drawn. We have Martin Jue, K5FLU, as our Banquet speaker this year. Hal, N4GG, will have his spark transmitter Blue Lighting at the convention. This 500W spark transmitter is something to see.
