Yes windows, But it's more browser sensitive than OS, so far Windows/Chrome, Safari/iOS, and Firefox /Android have been tested and work well.
Thank you for the reply. I am running Linux and use both Firefox and Chromium (the open source version of Chrome). I will test them out, see how they work, and let you know.
Pardon me, but is this simply a list of existing websdr receivers (http://websdr.org/) , or does HamRadioCoin add additional sites or features? 73 Jon AF7TS
The SDR's have been added to our site for Noobs ease of use, One of our project goals is geared to promoting amateur radio to non hams. So we made the site to kind of spoon feed them some of the cooler new radio gadgets and encourage them to drop 10-20 bucks on a SDR of their own and bring some fresh blood to the hobby in baby steps. In addition the SDR's are being used for a pseudo loopback audio for experienced radio operators helping us develop our project, it makes them easy to find when we are collaborating on our IRC server and testing features while developing new software in real time. Feel free to pop in IRC and chat, sometimes our users initiate QSO's in IRC and in some cases we can instruct noobs as to how to listen via the online SDR's like a mini ham school =) 73 Jimmy KM4EOM
All correct written by friend KM4EOM, we are also trying to aggregate multiple things together. On the SDR's page there are also players of V.L.F. and as soon as possible we add also the streaming of some repeaters. We also wait you on the IRC server network that we opened for amateurs that give possibility of immediate contact on several occasions, also for chatting during activations or contest with other participants and give useful information quickly. You can connect to HamRadioIRC from these servers: - irc.hamradioirc.net - maxwell.hamradioirc.net - hertz.hamradioirc.net - bo01.hamradioirc.net all on port 6667 or SSL 6697 If you don't have a IRC client can use also browser from: http://www.hamradiocoin.com/irc-web-client.html
Agreed, we also have a very geo diverse crowd involved with our project, the SDR's and IRC make it easy for people whom don't have any radio gear yet, or are in isolated areas prohibiting them from face to face interactions with other radio guys.
