Z6, Kosovo. Go get 'em!
It was number 2 on the Clublog most wanted list yesterday
There is Z60A on the bands currently. I worked them in 2016 (and got the QSL), not sure if that counts.
Nope. Previous contacts don't count.
OK it's pile up time then. Heard them yesterday evening (local) on 80m CW very load, but the pile was compact like a wall. No luck with 100W.
Right now I hear them on 30m on the Twente WebSDR very loud at work, but I'm sitting here writing code...
I wouldn't fight a pileup for it. It'll still be there after the excitement dies down. Kinda mad I have to work them again to get DXCC credit; I worked Kosovo a couple of years ago and got the card. But I knew at the time it didn't count.
Haven't heard them yet, seem to be focusing on EU (makes sense)...hoping for a long operation so I can try after the hype...then likely will hear them on everywhere...much like ZA when they began..
While Z60A was running a big pileup on 14.195 listening up, Z61DX was on 14.186 with a much smaller pileup, nearly as strong, and listening down.
Worked em' on 40 cw this evening. Nice sigs on their sunrise. I worked Kosovo a few times prior but of course those don't count. 80m pileup has been pretty big... haven't busted through that one.. but 40 didn't seem as bad. He was calling for NA which was nice as there is a pretty strong EU wall otherwise. Well, another eu country for more challenge points!
No signals here yet, only to EU and EC. Hoping for an opening soon...
