As of May 17, 2016, William Peacock Jr "N0ARU" became a silent key. He was a General Class Licensee from Mitchell, SD and very active on 2m FM. William Jr was preceded in death by his father, William Sr, and his mother, Donna Peacock. 73 and RIP William from all of the Mitchell Radio Amateurs.
The funeral was held on May 23 at the Bittner Funeral Chapel. Obituary: William Frances Peacock Jr. was born October 10, 1964 in Mitchell, SD to William Frances and Donna (Stahl) Peacock Sr. He grew up in Mitchell and attended school in Mitchell and graduated from Delmont High School. Bill did electrical work and was employed as janitor and maintenance man at the Highland Mall. Bill was an avid ham radio operator. He is survived by an uncle, Roger O. Stahl and wife, Margaret of Fremont, NE and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.
