The MARC of Mobile, Alabama will hold its annual hamfest this coming Saturday at 8 am. The MARC has been around since 1933, and while the hamfest has missed a few years over all those decades, it's still a long running event. We are making a special effort to make this year a good one. The event will be held at an excellent, indoor venue, a clean, modern Shriner facility (the Shriners are selling good hamfest type food at the event--burgers, dogs, chicken, etc.). Prizes? Some nice ones this year starting with everybody's favorite, the grand prize, an IC7300. Come out and join the friendly hams of the Mobile Amateur Radio Club for hamfest fun this Saturday!
