Martin W. Graybeal, KB3MU SK Martin Wagner Graybeal 10/07/1923 - 10/08/2018 Martin Wagner Graybeal, 95, of Ormond Beach, Florida passed away on October 8, 2018. Marty was born October 7, 1923 in Lancaster county, Pa. Marty is survived by his daughters Pat Dorrell (Jim) and Nancy Graybeal from his first marriage; his daughters Lynn Graybeal (Jonathan Roberts), Colleen Hutchison (Hutch), Kim Langford and Laurie Phibbons from his second marriage; and many beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Marty was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 64 years, Nancy Graybeal (nee Schreiber); brothers Charles, Preston, Harry Walt, and Robert Graybeal; sisters Nell Thomas and Beulah Romans; and son-in-law Richard Phibbons. Marty served in the Coast Guard during WWII as a coxswain on a Higgins boat in North Africa and Italy. He was part of the family at the Church of the Holy Child and faithfully served God in his church and community. Marty loved golf, boating and reading. He could often be found tinkering in his shed working on his latest project. Marty was an amateur radio operator and a member of the Elks for 44 years. Services will be held on October 24, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at Church of the Holy Child, 1225 W Granada Blvd, Ormond Beach. A reception will follow in the church fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Church of the Holy Child.
