Regret to hear of the passing of Leo W0GFQ!

I regret to hear of the passing of Leo Meyerson! Both of my cousins Jack Riley WN0QNG and Hazel Riley worked for him in the 1950's at World Radio Labs on Broadway Ave. in Council Bluffs, Iowa! I bought my Globe Scout 65-A transmitter from Leo in the 1950's as well! I had a lot of respect for the man and he will be greatly missed by many! 73's Leo Bob Riley KC9DX ex=K9AJP

    A GREAT PERSON

It was about 8 years ago I QSO'd with a friend of Leo's (Norb, W6BWU) in Palm Springs, CA. I asked him to please tell Leo I still had a WRL semi auto key (bug) that I really enjoyed.

When told, Leo sent me a signed copy of his autobiography "In Tune with Leo." What a wonderful glimpse into the past of his accomplishments both during and after the war along with advancement of technology. Not sure where this book is available now:confused:, but highly recommended!:)
