    Oct 26, 1932 – Dec 11, 2013
    Billy “Bill” Monroe Spaugh, 81 passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 13, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel with the Rev. Richard Payne officiating. Burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park with Military Honors.

    A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel.

    Bill was born in Forsyth County on October 26, 1932 to Allen and Kay Kemp Spaugh. He worked in maintenance at Community Management and served in the US Army. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Jim and Bobby Spaugh. Bill was a wonderful loving husband, father, grandfather and loved restoring antique cars.

    Surviving is his wife of 60 years, Elizabeth Griggs Spaugh; two sons, William Allen Spaugh (Suzanne) of Arcadia, Eddy Grey Spaugh of Harkers Island, NC; a daughter, Susan Baker (Leon) of Winston-Salem; four grandchildren, Tyler, Ashley, Dusty, Stevie and one great-grandchild, Savannah.
