Kenwood TS-430s /HF 10-160 meters with WARC I originally bought this radio from eBay as parts. I bought it with the intention of bringing it back to life and reselling it. My goal has been to repair broken, basket case radios and then sell them at very good prices so hopefully someone with not a lot of money, can get on the air with a good rig. When I received it, it looked like it had been stored in a barn or something for quite a while, and had been dropped at some point. The whole front chassis was bent. I straightened it out as good as I could. I then repaired many circuits inside the radio. I have done a complete alignment according to the service manual. I then stripped and painted the outside of the unit with as close to factory paint color as I could find. I put a Blue LED behind the S Meter instead of White. I think it looks pretty good. I scrubbed all the knobs and I have it as good as I can get it. This radio is not 100% cosmetically, because there is still a little bend in the front chassis that I could not get out of it. I bought a new microphone for it, not Kenwood, but 3rd party for a Kenwood. I made up a power cable with inline fuses. The radio works very nicely. All bands, LSB, USB, CW, and AM all work as they should. I have had excellent signal reports on this radio running it on my G5RV antenna that is about 25' above the ground, running through my trees. I am selling this rig with the microphone, and 12volt power cord including shipping anywhere in the continental USA for the price of $285.00 You can see more pictures of the rig on my website: http://www.hamlogbook.com/kenwoodts430sforsale.html I also have the users manual and service manual on my site: http://www.hamlogbook.com/kenwoodts430sforsale/KenwoodTS-430sUserManual.pdf and http://www.hamlogbook.com/kenwoodts430sforsale/KenwoodTS-430sServiceManual.pdf Kevin Rea K6REA Lancaster, Calif.
