    Hey, gang-

I know the Kenwood TM710(A)-Davis Vantage Pro 2 interface question has made the rounds once, but I have a slightly different question:

The Kenwood manual seems to indicate that the GPS interface (on the head) can be used for a GPS feed (as I've used for my AvMap/TM700A setup in the past).
It also indicated the GPS input can take weather data from a Davis Vantage Pro 2 (using the Davis streaming data logger, appropriate software, etc.).

Has anybody set up a vehicle-based mobile weather reporting system that relays BOTH the APRS positioning data and realtime weather data?
(I'd like to demo this for my local emergency management agency, to illustrate how we my build a "poor man's mobile mesonet" for severe weather events.)

    All help/ideas welcomed here!
