I have a D710 I'm trying to program. The D710 has been in service for a little while, so a lot of things about it are already configured in the menus, etc. I have used MCP-2A to read the configuration out of the radio and save it to a file. I have created a .hmk file that contains the necessary information to configure the Memory Channels for all the repeaters in Ohio. MCP-2A will import this file correctly. However, I cannot figure out how to merge the existing configuration I've downloaded from the radio with the Memory Channel data from the .hmk file. When I use File>Import>HMK, it erases all of the configuration settings (from the menus on the radio, etc) and the result is a radio that's in the factory reset state but with the Memory Channels programmed in.

How do I keep the radio configured as it is now and just add the Memory Channels from the .hmk file to it?
