    Jay Junior Hitchcock, age 96, died June 17, 2019 at Botsford Commons Assisted Living, Farmington Hills, Mi. Cremation has taken place and a private service will be held later. Jay was born March 21, 1923 in Flint, Mi.He married Arlene L.Force on March 9, 1946.Jay was a veteran of World War II serving in the US Army 1943-1946. After the war he worked at Buick Motors until his retirement. In 1976. Jay and Arlene raised 7 children. Surviving are his children: Steve(Eunice)Hitchcock,Novi, Mi; Mike(Pam)Hitchcock,Redwood City,Ca; William(Kathy)Hitchcock,Swartz Creek,,Mi; Cathy(Bill)Pratt, Madison,Tn; Mary(Larry)Rickard,Colorado Springs,Co; David(Kelly)Hitchcock,Crosby,Tx; James(Marcia)Hitchcock, Albuquerque,Nm; Brothers: Bernard and Phillip; 10 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. Jay was preceded In death by Arlene, his wife of 70 years; his parents, and 3 brothers.
