K2BSA/1 Special Event at CT Scout Extravaganza

K2BSA / 1 will be operated from "Extravaganza 2002" the CT Yankee Council Boy Scouts Council camporee on May 10-12, 2002. The Camporee will feature the theme "Scouting Values Unite Us" and will take place on the CT shoreline at Hamonasset State Park. Several thousand Scouts and members of the public will be treated to Ham Radio Demos and Special Event Station along with exhibits by the Navy Seals, Army, Marines and a parachute Jump in by the Black Knight team from West Point.
SSB operation will be on world Scouting Frequencies including: 3.740/3.940 MHz, 7.270 MHz, 14.290 MHz, 18.140 MHz, 21.360 MHz, 24.960 MHz, 28.390 MHz.  6&2 meter opperation will be as band conditions permit.
