Worked Joel many times on the Novice bands, especially 80 meters (3700 - 3750khz) back when we were both novices (1973 - 1974) and as a General class operator after. Mostly on CW and partly on 75 meters (3995khz). Joel's call then WN5IGF. My call WN5IUS out of Jackson, Mississippi. Later, both WB5's.
