    Obituary

    Jerome Anthony Fiore, Sr. age 75, of Vestavia Hills went to be with the Lord on February 2, 2016.

    He was also known as “N4JF” to amateur radio operators globally. He was an avid operator for six decades making contacts worldwide and collecting mementos from many cultures, since obtaining his license at age 14.
    His radio organizations included American Radio Relay Association, Birmingham Amateur Radio Club, Birmingham DX Club, Alabama Contest Group, OMIK Amateur Radio Association and Volunteer Examiner.

    He graduated from John Carroll High School.
    He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph John Fiore and Elizabeth Romeo Fiore and wife, Carolyn Austin Fiore.

    Mr. Fiore is survived by his children: Tony Fiore (Tammy), Angela Fiore Busic (Lance) and Donna Fiore Hill (Tim); brother: Joe Fiore; grandsons: Mathew Woods, Zachary Woods and Rome Fiore; granddaughters: Emma Fiore, Ruth Fiore and Sara Fiore.
    Mr. Fiore loved his family, friends and amateur radio family. He will be missed by all.

    Family will receive friends on Saturday, February 6, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Elmwood Chapel Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life ceremony following at 2:00 p.m. Burial at Elmwood Cemetery.
