Jack was a good friend back when I lived in my hometown. He was a graduate of our Novice Class in the late 70s. He was friends with my dad back in their childhood - part of the 'Vance Street Gang' in Laurinburg.
I just recently thought to look him up only to find he passed away in 2014. RIP.

He went into the printing business, Service Printing Co., until his retirement in 1988. He enjoyed family and friends and loved Laurinburg and Scotland County. In retirement he enjoyed golf, reading, and daily walks with Gladys.
