Great score! Now all you need is crystals or a VFO, and a power supply for the amp.

    More pictures, please!

Jim, do you live anywhere near Albany NY?

I need an extra set of hands, more energy than I have, more time than there is, and not too many
parts that I don't already have...

    So, not much help?

I wish I did - but it's at least 5 hours from here to there.

I could use an extra set of hands, an extra brain, and a prehensile tail, myself.

    And all that other stuff.

The tail would get in the way sitting at the bench, I would expect.
Be careful what you ask for? :p

IMHO, TMC was a step above Collins, in build quality. Nice gear, and built like the proverbial brick conference room. These were usually sold as part of a system, so having the matching power supplies is more or less a prerequisite, but you could homebrew one if you have the time and energy to scrounge up the components.

I'd give my left --- and 17 years servitude to get my hands on a GPT-750. Friend had one, and boy, I was IMPRESSED. Ran a nice cool kw or more on both SSB and CW. Just provide 230v AC.

PS if you want some books, I think I have some PDF files for both units. E-mail me at: wa7kkp <at> gmail <dot> com, and I'll burn you a copy on CD-ROM.

Gary, thanks much for that offer.
I think I have the manuals downloaded in pdf for the PAL-350 and the PAL-500.
If you have something other than those online, then yes i would be interested...

Unless that power supply surfaces - and a reliable source told me that my unit at one time was complete with the power supply -
I'll have to home brew something, and do something about that oddball rear panel connector as well. :(
