I am bit surprised, but the popular IC-7300 is not Chirp supported.

What other software options are there (I would like it to be free and cross radio compatible like Chirp) to program the IC-7300 memories. Or better, is someone working on Chirp support for the IC-7300

Storing freqs from the front panel is easy, but things get cumbersome if you have the 1st 25 memories filled and you decide you want to add a new freq between memory position 12 and 13.
