    Hi Majid,

It seems pretty well drawn to me. What part(s) seem unclear or missing to you? Maybe we can help to decipher those partsfor you?

    73,

    Majid -

PARTS (Transistors, OpAmps) in the iCOM SM-10 Microphone PRE-AMP circuit are quite clear.

There are Three OpAmp ICs (Dual) used in this circuit: IC-1, IC-2, and IC-3 (IR94558).
SO, in the Schematic diagram you see 6 total Op-Amps used.

The NTE778A is a readily available substitute.

    Hi Majid,

I was just looking at the pdf that was given by W9GB. The diodes are a bit hard to read, but I think they are all 1s1588 except for D5 which is a sr-1k (these are older japanese types -- probably not critical so 1n4148 could be subbed and 1n4001 or something like that for the sr-1k).

The the value for the capacitor for IC3 on the far left is off the page, but probably 0.047uF.

The pin numbers are not given for the IC ground and supply lines, but it is obvious by the schematic what they are (up and down arrows saying "To IC...").

Are you trying to repair one, or make one from scratch?

    73,

    helloooooooooooooooo my good friends,
thank you very much for all commands ,its wonderful .hi hi
dear mark .yes i am planing to made that equalizer and comperessor .
i dont know which part of map is compresessor and setting level ,
do you know ?what a bout swich 2 (a,b,c).
which swich is comp level ?and which part device is for comp ?
could you explain how the circuit work ?
and if you have any new equalizer and comp amp for home brew hf transceiver is appreciated .
thank you very much . majid

    Hi Majid,

Sorry, but I've never seen that microphone unit before so I don't know. Also I have not studied compressor circuits enough to figure this one out; I'm sure others here could. You are right about that swith though, it is confusing as the contacts are not made clear.

Anyway, I think I have some speech compressor circuits saved. I will look around and see if I can find them.

    73,

    Mark.

Audio compression circuits, using Operational amplifiers (Op-Amps) have been common in electronics magazines and "on the Internet" since the 1970s.
