Louisiana looks to be bracing for some heavy rain with the tropical depression coming towards it. Since the Mississippi River @ NORCO is only 2' below flood stage from the Spring rains, this tropical depression coming ashore can bring a 5 to 7' storm surge which will really muck things up over yonder. Hopefully the storm will pass thru quick and not dump too much rain on the Pelican State. These folks got smashed 2 years ago and many still haven't recovered from those floods as of yet either.
