The Nashua Area Radio Society would like to thank the Dayton Hamvention(R) team for recognizing our club, centered in Nashua, New Hampshire as the 2019 Club of the Year. We'd also like to congratulate all of the 2019 award winners! The Nashua Area Radio Society is focused on bringing new Hams, young and old, into the Amateur Radio Service and providing many training and mentoring opportunities for new and experienced Hams. We also have several programs aimed at youth outreach through Amateur Radio based STEM learning in local middle and high schools. We hope that other clubs might benefit from a look at some of the projects and activities that we are doing. Folks can learn more about us at our website - https://www.n1fd.org. Fred, AB1OC President, Nashua Area Radio Society
Fred heads an active club here in New England, which is unusual in both their number of members and their extent of activities--for all. Like the Portage Club , who won last year, NARS is an excellent role model for 'what works'. Congrats to Fred and the NARS
My sincere apologies to the Nashua club as I said they were in New Jersey...instead of New Hampshire. Never the less our Dayton team congratulates them and all the HV19 award winners! Michael Kalter W8CI.
No worries Michael - we very much appreciate all that you and the Dayton Hamvention(R) team have done for us by recognizing us for this prestigious award! Keep up the great work with the Dayton Hamvention awards program! Fred, AB1OC
