    For Sale

Hamtronics REP-100 repeater currently set up for 220 Mhz. (Transmit 224.7 – Receive 223.1). This was a functioning repeater in the Pittsburgh area which was recently taken out service and stored by me till now. The unit is light and easily shippable.

    Subunits consist of:

Hamtronics REP-100 chassis and front plate with speaker and controls – both TX and RX are fully shielded in aluminum specialty boxes atop the chassis.

This unit has been tested only to the extent that the receiver is working, the transmitter is working and the CWID is working. Bench trials using test gear and the one 220 HT I have here indicate that the unit will function as a system as intended but I cannot guarantee that it is a totally fault free. The unit can be broken with the squelch set properly, transmits an ID and appears to switch properly.

Consider it a project box that is near 100% and would be good for a club repeater or local community operation both on 220 or 144 (with 2 meter xtals). It runs from 12 volts DC and could easily be taken portable for special event or emergency situation support.
