    Please explain the purpose of comparing a 7610 to a 7300. Waste of time and energy. They are not the same class, will never be. If a 7300 rec is as good as a 7610 better off to by 2 7300s instead of a 7610 and save a bunch.

    7300 is a very nice unit. I didnt like the fit or feel of the 7610 when I played with it. There are some noted bugs on the internet about the 7610, but I am sure they will get those figured out.

    I may get one of these next year, when the firmware is solid. Having 2 sdr's in one unit, would be nice.

    I see there has already been a price drop of almost 400 bucks?
    Hmm? What to read into that.

    My guess is they are not flying off the shelves as Icom finds a price point that will cause them to sell like the 7300 did.
