Really sorry to have heard this when I was trying to track him down on a visit home recently. Dick was a great guy, passionate about his hobby and well known. I remember when he was delivering parcels on the High Street, he sometimes had a queue of people waiting to say good morning to him! He was a tremendous assistance to me when I was starting off in radio and generous with his time, support and knowledge both with radio and the many other things he was interested in. Yes John, I have many happy memories of Dick and I building crystal sets in my bedroom whilst living in the village of Garmouth. In those days we had yet to experience the pleasures of Macallan but dare I say we caught up with the greatest success. Great days and valuable experience so thanks for that Dick. Victor 2m0jvr
