FT1000D relay RL1005 part wanted

    Bottom line is that if you REALLY can't find a suitable similar relay that will solder straight onto the board (on ANY rig), then you could use almost any relay wired above the board with short leads !

    OR if you want to keep it neater - you drill small holes through the board to suit the pins of the new relay, and connect it with short bits of wire to the original pcb tracks underneath the board. (I did the latter on a piece of equipment recently)

    Thanks all,
    The Mouser Elec source for the relay, OMRON G6E-134P was an exact match - fits perfectly.
    Been using it for a few days and the linear keying is working OK - time will tell if it holds up as well as the original of 24 years use....
